Children enjoy four hours of focused learning each day across the weekend, covering all five subjects. Every session also includes individual reading time with a teacher, giving each child regular one-to-one support.

Children are grouped by ability rather than age, so they can learn at a pace and level that suits them. Whether a child is seven or eleven, they start from where they are and build their skills and confidence from there.

Before you ask

Questions parents ask most.

What ages do you take?+
Boys and girls from six to sixteen. Every child reads for a teacher on their first day and is placed in a group by ability rather than age, so a beginner of eleven and a beginner of eight both start where they actually are.
Are boys and girls taught separately?+
Yes, from the age of nine. Below nine, children are taught together in mixed groups.
How does the 10% sibling discount work?+
The first child pays the full £560. Every additional child from the same household gets ten per cent off their own fee, so a second, third or fourth child pays £504 each. It's applied automatically — you don't need to ask for it. Use the calculator above to see your household's figure.
How and when do I pay?+
£560 per child for the year, and you choose how to spread it: once a year, four quarterly payments of £140, or ten monthly payments of £56 from September to June. Brothers and sisters after the first pay £504 each, so a family of two comes to £1,064 a year — £266 quarterly or £106.40 a month. New students also pay a one-off £50 admission fee with their first payment, which covers all their books and stationery. Use the calculator above to see your household's figures.
Do you run weekday classes?+
Not at the moment — the Weekend Maktab is the only programme currently running. If a weekday timetable opens up we'll announce it on Instagram and Facebook first, so follow us there or ask to be told when it starts.
Do returning students pay the admission fee again?+
No. The £50 admission fee is charged once per student, in their first year only. If your child is already with us, you just pay the tuition. If you're adding a younger brother or sister, only the new child pays it — and the whole household still gets the 10% sibling discount. The calculator above has a "Returning" option that works this out for you.
What does my child need to bring?+
Nothing on the first day. The one-off £50 admission fee covers everything a new student needs — Qaidah or Mushaf, Islamic studies workbook, Arabic writing book, student diary, pens and a bag. Replacements can be bought from the classroom shop during the year.
Can I look around before enrolling?+
Please do. We run short visits during teaching hours so you can see a class in progress and meet the teacher your child would have. Call or message to book a fifteen-minute slot.
How will I know how my child is doing?+
Progress is tracked for every subject, so you can see how your child is doing strand by strand. The day's lesson and any homework go in the student diary, and class news goes to the parent WhatsApp group. There's a parents' evening in January and again in July.

Places go in the order they're requested.

Group sizes are capped, so the form is the fastest way to hold a place. It takes about a minute.
